Crooked Man was formed by Guitarist John LaMacchia, known for his work with critically acclaimed artists and groups such as Candiria, Julie Christmas and Spylacopa.
After Candiria Bassist, Michael MacIvor's band, A Family Plot dissolved, LaMacchia decided to continue on with Plot drummer Wayne Daren Schneiderman and build a repetoire of songs and musical compositions that truly represented LaMacchia as an artist and writer. With the addition of Bassist Michael Shaw and Singer/instrumentalist, Sabrina Ellie and after several months of writing and rehearsing, Crooked Man picked four songs to record and release.
Recorded and mixed in three days, Coextinction Recording # 12, engineered and co produced by Andrew Schneider (Julie Christmas, Unsane, Pelican, Cave In) will be available solely at www.coextinction.com this month on December 15th.
This dark, moody and ambitious digital EP marks Crooked Mans first official release. The band will be playing regional dates in support of it while writing and preparing for a full length LP
